We had water damage to the main floor of our home in Sept ’24. After experiencing the EXTREMELY aggressive tactics of remediation companies recommended by insurance, we called McCarthy. They were local, compassionate, and reactive. They were also very patient with the insurance company’s unethical maneuvers. Note: insurance stalled our very straightforward claim for over 6 months – which I now understand is common these days. The people we worked with at McCarthy were amazing. Anthony was our initial point of contact and is genuinely one of the nicest individuals you will ever meet. He was compassionate, responsive, and thorough when he came out to inspect the damage. Jen was paramount in helping us deal with insurance and setting expectations. She really knows her stuff and is also a wonderful person. Hunter is fantastic and was very easy to work with. He was on-site throughout most of the process, keeping things moving and attending to details in stellar fashion. Everyone we worked with was pleasant and very customer focused. They were always available, informative, met deadlines, and seemed genuinely concerned about our situation. 9 months later, the work is complete (delay due to insurance, not McCarthy) and all is well. Looks great and you would never know anything happened. If you are ever in a situation needing this kind of service, do yourself a favor and call McCarthy first.

Six 150-180 ft fir trees hit our home during 2023 Nov storm. Capt Rick McCarthy was my 4th contact in the aftermath damage. He was the only person who remained committed to helping us restore our home. He showed up. He showed up with 122 pg detailed damage report and thorough inspection. He showed up w detailed analysis bids. He worked with insurance. He worked with our attorney when ins refused to cover damages. He ensured roof damage was immediately protected and that "temp" protection lasted for the 2 yrs we were in court w ins. He showed up for emergencies, questions, and outrageous ins stalling tactics like assigning 15 different field and desk agents. He showed up with irrefutable documentation and expertise. McCarthy didn't just expertly restore our home and the extensive damages we incurred from the city's trees. Multiple areas of the home were slammed. See pics. They continuously showed up first! McCarthy's showed up no matter what. They professionally and consistently communicated with us, the city, the attorneys, subs, and a revolving door of ins negligible dismissals. His staff, Jen!!, and Kevin - to everyone he assigned: were incredibly conscientious, professional, caring, and attentive. Their workmanship is impeccable. Hard stop. If there is ever another emergency or repair needed, Mccarthy's will be our **First** phone call. Understand this- calling Rick first, means not having to call 20 others who don't show up or cause more delays. We are and remain grateful we found McCarthy's.

5/2025: After repairing our water line issues last year, The McCarthy Team worked on several larger projects in our home, and we could not be more pleased with their work. From quick and regular communication, attention to detail, and excellent workmanship, each person on the team went above and beyond. We are grateful to everyone who worked on at least one, if not most or all, of our projects: Rick, Jen, Israel, Carlos, Mike, Hunter, Myles, Preston, Daniel, and Anthony – thank you! Each of them worked very hard to make sure all the details were taken care of, and it shows in the final products. Projects included a replumb due to aging pipes, repair of a failed shower pan that led to water damage in the adjacent drywall, an additional complete bathroom remodel, and a full kitchen remodel. It gave us such peace of mind knowing McCarthy was there to work with us on any issue that came up, big or small. We also appreciated that they listened to what we wanted, and they helped come up with those solutions throughout all of the projects. We do not hesitate to recommend the McCarthy Team for any home project, water-related or otherwise. 6/2024: We have had two urgent water issues, and the McCarthy Team helped us with both. They responded very quickly and were able to get both situations repaired within 24 hours. We look forward to working with them in the future on planned projects.

We had sewage leakage and needed Hazmat to clean up after the plumbing was fixed. The crew was friendly, easy to communicate, came in on time, cleaned things thoroughly and quickly. They put up tarps to make sure they wouldn’t leave anything behind. Very good job, highly recommend.

McCarthy Team worked on my two small bathrooms, doing water damage repairs and some upgrades. The work was done well. They also worked with my insurance to provide the needed photos and paperwork. Everyone involved was pleasant to work with, and they accommodated my household needs to stay home. They also worked in some changes that I thought of while the main work was in progress. I’ll use them again.

We were very fortunate to have found McCarthy Construction after a tree struck our home. They were very responsive and quick to protect our home from further weather damage. They put our mind at ease and offered support through the insurance process. During the long repair process, their communication was regular and thorough. McCarthy GC was truly exemplary. I experienced a home flood the same week that I was moving to a new state and starting a new job. Through an incredibly stressful and uncertain time in my life, contractor Anthony and contents team lead Jen have been timely, empathetic, and professional. Their response and action have been immediate and proactive. They have also been nothing but patient and supportive through a lengthy insurance adjustor process. I feel that I can trust them fully. Not only has their work been thorough and effective, I know that they have my best interest at heart. I never want to experience again a home flood but, if I must, there is no other team I would want to help me recover than McCarthy.

What impressed me most about McCarthy’s was the excellent communication provided by the office staff. They helped us navigate the insurance claim and were on top of things every step of the way. The staff is friendly and professional-the workmanship was wonderful as well.
